California-Disney Adventures

Talk about a great time of year to go to California! We arrived New Years Eve. It was so nice being in (on average) 60 degree weather. Most days were about that or even higher. It felt weird being able to go to the beach and play while back in Utah we have been freezing. I realized when I got there, that on New Years day(exactly nine yrs from that date) Geoff had proposed to me at Little Corona Beach and now we were back in the exact same place. So of course, on New Years Day, we all took a trip to that specific beach to let me have my moment of memory. Haha! (Just a note, the beach in the picture is not Little Corona)

This day at the beach was one of the warmest days there so of course everyone got in their swimsuits and had a blast. We were able to go to the beach every day we were in California except for the rainy Sunday and the Wednesday we were at Disneyland.



Every time we walked pass these cars at Toontown in Disnyland, Abbi had to sit in them. It was pretty cute! She actually saw a guy sitting in this car with his gal and he had his arm up like this for their picture so Abbi decided to do the same.

Abbi and I spent some time together without the others while they all went on some rides. While it was just the two of us, we were able to meet Pluto. She was pretty pumped but probably not AS pumped as when she got to meet.........

Princess Jasmine and Aladdin! We didn't have to wait in line to meet these two. It was great. The girls were absolutely thrilled and are still constantly talking about meeting them.

Tinker Bell was another fun find.....sort of by accident. We actually thought we were standing in line for a ride at Pixie Hollow. Truth be told, I am very grateful, for the girls sake, that we did think it was a ride. If we would have known it was just a line through Pixie Hollow to meet Tinker Bell, I don't think we would have talked the others into standing in line.

It was so wonderful to be able to be there with the girls during their first time at Disneyland. Maddison's favorite ride was Thunder Mountain while Abbi's favorite was the Buzz Lightyear ride. They also both thoroughly enjoyed Tarzan's Tree House as well(that might have been Abbi's favorite too...hmm..she really liked both of them.

Now back to the cold and white Utah!
